2012 Ports Pricing and Access Review - Issues Paper

The Essential Services Commission of South Australia (the Commission) has commenced a review into the pricing and access regimes that apply to proclaimed ports in South Australia. The Commission is reviewing whether the ports pricing and access regimes specified in the Maritime Services (Access) Act 2000 should continue beyond 30 October 2012 for a further five-year period.

The release of this Issues Paper marks the first step in the Commission’s process of public consultation on the Review.

Final Price Determination of Solar Feed-in Tariff Premium

The Commission has released its Final Price Determination for the solar Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Premium to apply from 27 January 2012 – 30 June 2014.

The FiT Premium, which is credited on solar customers’ electricity bills when they generate more electricity than they use, reflects the fair and reasonable value of fed-in electricity to electricity retailers.
